Escape the winter chill and embrace the festive spirit with our Christmas in July retreat day! Join us for a cozy day of creative activities including pottery, resin crafts, and a limited edition CHRISTMAS workshop. Experience the magic of the holiday season, as we spread joy and relaxation with each craft by delving into the warmth and friendship of creativity. Come join us for a memorable retreat that will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of the year with renewed energy and joy.

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

  • Doors open at 8:30am so help yourself to tea and coffee while you review your Xmas retreat program. Pick up your Xmas pack with some special goodies and mingle and meet other retreat participants.

    
We will also provide a Christmas lunch, a visit from Santa to give everyone a secret santa gift and lots of games (bingo, trivia, you name it). Slushies, fairy floss, and a day of fun.

  • Discover your artistic talents as you paint and decorate your own ceramic Christmas Themed Hanging Mobile to hang inside or outside to help spread the Christmas cheer. Hang your Christmas Mobile up during your festive season and amaze your family and friends with your artistic flair. Once you have painted your decorated decoration, they will be clear glazed and fired for you to string up, use and admire.

  • Learn all about candle making. Discover your creative self as we explore some of the techniques of making candles. You will get to make three (3) soy wax candles, and choose from a range of different fragrance oils to scent your beautiful handmade candles. And, to top it off, we will also make Xmas shaped Melt and Pour Soap with a silcon mould to take home.

  • Discover your inner artist as we explore some of the techniques of using resin. You will get to decorate your own 4 footed board and 2 coasters with a variety of different coloured resins pigments to take home and use again and again.

  • Learn the basics of the pottery wheel with us! Practice centreing, and learn how to throw clay on the wheel while you make some bowls.

    After you feel more confident, you will get to make and keep 2 of your own pots, glazed in either white, red or green and fired.

  • Get your Retreat Day certificate and say your goodbyes to your new friends. Make sure you take some pictures to capture your special retreat memories and take home all your Christamas surprises, secret santa gift and santa sack full of yummy things.
